2024 has been quite a year! LeBron and Bronny James played alongside each other on the Los Angeles Lakers to become the first father and son to compete together on an NBA team. Royal Caribbean launched the Icon of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise chip (nicknamed the Human Lasagna) in Miami, Florida. And Inside Out 2 dethroned Frozen 2 to become the highest grossing animated film of all time. From groundbreaking scientific discoveries and technological innovations to uplifting and inspirational stories of hope and overcoming adversity, we have much to be grateful for in this life.
With so many exciting things happening all around the world, we have much about which to bow our heads this year. And, just as we have done in years past, the crew at Southshore Physical Therapy wants to take a moment to stop and reflect on all of our many blessings by sharing where we plan to focus our gratitude this holiday season.
.
LEE – I am forever grateful for my amazing family, my all-star crew at Southshore PT and the good people at McCord’s Butchery who keep my stomach full and my grill sizzling on a regular basis.
JESS – I am thankful for the challenges that keep life interesting, the family that hasn’t disowned me yet, the dogs who love me unconditionally (even though I don’t share my snacks), the health that keeps me moving and Good Human chocolate. But mostly the chocolate.
LORI – I am thankful for my health, my family and my Southshore peeps. This year has been full of twists and turns but thankfully God created epi-pens.
SARAH – I am thankful for my family and for being able to surround myself with positive people every day. And book deals. Thank God for book deals!
ASHLEY – I am thankful for my support system of family and friends who push me to be the best version of myself as well as for the Holy Trinity of Butters – cashew, peanut and almond.
VEJON – I’m thankful for my family, my friends, my ability to help others and every opportunity I have to catch up on my sleep!
VIVIEN – I’m thankful for my family, friends and fur babies. And for Mr. Krabs and the Krabby Patty secret formula.
KACY – I’m thankful for my family, friends and the journey that brought me to where I am today. And for Spongebob.
OLIVIA – I’m thankful for my family, friends and health as well as the opportunity to pursue my dreams. And closed-toed shoes. I am VERY thankful for closed-toed shoes.
THERESE – I am thankful for my family and friends, the new chapter of my life coming soon and the ability to lift more than the average man.
TYRA – I am extra thankful for having a supportive family, my friends and all the blessings I’ve received this year. And the chance to shimmy during sumo walks and get paid doing it!
MADDIE – I’m thankful for my family, friends, my Southshore crew and cruise ships in the new year!
MICHELE – I am thankful for the people in my life, almost all of them. And the cheeses in my life, all of them. Except Pepper Jack.

What about you? What are YOU thankful for?
