What Is SPT and Why Do I Need It?

Southshore Performance Training (SPT) is our fitness and sports performance division. With more than 18 years of experience in athletic training and rehabilitation, we provide cutting-edge programs and personalized fitness instruction to enhance performance and prevent injury for adults and children of all ability levels.

An athlete who wants to compete effectively must be able to sustain a high level of performance – speed, strength, flexibility, agility and balance – for the duration of the game. These athletes are able to recover, replenish and repeat bouts of maximum muscular effort quickly and efficiently.

Our main objective is to help you perform at your peak ability.

The SPT coaches customize every routine for the sport, training level, age, injury history and time of year (in- or off-season). Our low teacher-to-student ratio allows our trained Southshore Performance Training coaches to work individually with every athlete. Each session builds on the previous ones to ensure safe, proper progression and continuous improvement. From one-on-one instruction and consultation to sharing meal ideas and creating workout playlists, we go the extra mile to help you reach your goals.
