Meet The Team

At Southshore Physical Therapy, our team is made up of conscientious, dedicated therapists and staff who pride themselves in providing individual, focused attention.

We take the time to include our patients’ personal goals in their PT program and we educate them on their diagnosis, the normal biomechanics of their affected joint, how their deficits affect normal function, and how physical therapy will restore their normal function. This is the cornerstone of the Southshore Physical Therapy difference – we do this better than anyone.

Lee has published articles in scientific journals, including Pain and Brain Research. He understands what it takes to return his patients to the peak of their game—he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has completed in many triathlons, including the Ironman Florida and Ironman France triathlons. Working with patients of all ages and on every level of competition, Lee understands how important the careful supervision of their treatment is to getting them well.
Lee’s commitment to making a positive impact in his patients’/clients’ lives, their successful physical therapy outcomes, and his relentless commitment to making the whole process fun are what sets him apart

Forever an over-achiever, Christina is currently working full time at Southshore in our Front Office while taking courses that will ultimately prepare her for a career in business. Leaving horticulture behind for now, Christina is currently in the “Southshore-a-culture” business – positively contributing to Southshore’s awesome culture by making sure that our patients receive a friendly smile when they walk though our doors, and a warm voice when they call on the phone. If Southshore PT were a flower, Christina would have us in full bloom!!
Maggie works with us part-time to make the afternoons at Southshore zing! Lexi is one step ahead of you. No really. She stealthily helps guide you through your physical therapy, anticipating your every move to make sure that your visit is seamless so that you make the most of your time with us. But she’s not rushing you – she is an old soul. You will not even realize that time is passing as she mesmerizes you with banter about her latest recipe or creation in the kitchen. If you’re lucky she may even bring a taste to the clinic for you. Lexi’s interest in physical therapy began in high school where she worked as an assistant athletic trainer at Hahnville High School. Following coursework in Kinesiology at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, she joined our team at Southshore. Lexi is as compassionate as she is fast and is here to help see you through your physical therapy with a smile!

In her studies, Hillary has travelled to London, England to attend a class on Sports Medicine and is CPR certified. Hillary is best known for her positive attitude, outgoing personality, beautiful singing voice (she often bursts into song midday at the clinic) and her love of Great Danes.

Ashley is like a high speed train on track to physical therapy school. She is a 2012 graduate of St. Mary’s Dominican High School, where she aced her academics while leading the soccer team (literally) as captain her junior and senior years. Not one to rest on her laurels, she moved to Jackson, Mississippi where she continued to crush her studies, graduating in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science at Belhaven University. But just studying would have been too easy for Ashley. She also continued to rip up the soccer circuit, leading (again as captain) the Belhaven Women’s Soccer Team for four years while earning her degree. Not exactly ready to hang up her cleats, earlier this year she played semi-professional soccer for Chattanooga FC (of the Women’s Premier Soccer League) as a defensive specialist. Ashley takes the offensive at Southshore, bringing her hard work ethic and contagious laugh with her, making sure that your physical therapy experience is engaging and fun!
Tosha is a graduate of the University of New Orleans obtaining a BA in General Studies. Tosha works in the most important position in the clinic – the Front Desk. Tosha has been the coach of the St. Catherine of Siena Cross Country team since 2009, her accolades include the Jack Schommer Invitational (2011) and the Jefferson Parish Metro Area Championship in 2012.
